Part-time Event Staff
The Studio (Boulder) is a creative, collaborative shared workspace and industrial chic event venue. By day, we are home to a diverse community of professionals, makers, and artists. By night, we are host to public and private events ranging from educational workshops to corporate functions, wedding receptions, and more. The Studio opened in 2014 and has grown to be a pivotal community space here in Boulder, CO.

The Studio (Boulder) is on the hunt for new part-time event staff. Our private events range from wedding receptions to corporate holiday parties. The role is ideal for an efficient and personable professional who has experience with customer service. We are looking for a trusting, reliable, and hard working individual who can problem solve under any circumstance. This position can be filled by someone with another job. Hours can range anywhere from 8 hours to 30 per month.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Interfacing with event clients

  • Connecting vendors and event clients to power outlets, WiFi, A/V equipment, etc.

  • Identifying safety concerns and addressing them in a timely manner

  • Preventing damage to the space, including pre and post event walkthroughs with the client

  • Collecting trash, recycling, and compost as needed

  • Restocking bathroom supplies as needed

  • Preparing the space for an event, including moving furniture, putting countertop items away, setting up A/V equipment or Studio-supplied tables

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Personable

  • Task Oriented

  • Adaptable

  • Able to lift and carrying moderately heavy items up to 50 pounds

  • Able to think and act quickly

  • In accordance with Colorado state liquor laws candidates must be at least 21 years of age

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
