About The Studio

The Studio is a place for people doing real work and gathering in meaningful ways.

Not just a desk. Not just a venue. And definitely not a startup shrine to hustle culture.

It’s where people show up as themselves — to work, gather, build, create, celebrate, and just… be.

Come meet us.  You’ll know right away.

Our Story

The Studio started with a loose idea, a lot of sweeping, and more than a few “What if we just…?” conversations.

Bill Goodrich, and his friend and co-founder Jen Lewin, weren’t trying to build Boulder’s next hotspot or a monument to productivity. They just wanted a place that felt good to walk into. A place where people could work on their own stuff around others, a place to celebrate, build strange projects, host beautiful events, and not feel like they had to pretend to be more important than they are.

So they cleaned up a warehouse. They hung some lights. People showed up. And then more people showed up. And slowly — as the happy hours and the art shows and the daily grind of good work started stacking up — this place turned into something real.

Now, The Studio is Boulder’s go-to for meaningful work and unforgettable celebrations.

It’s still evolving. Still surprising us. Still very much ours.

Our Values

Authenticity

We believe the best spaces are the ones where you don’t have to pretend. Come as you are — whether that’s quiet, bold, focused, uncertain, or ready to throw a party. The Studio works because people bring their real selves.

Belonging

Belonging isn’t built with planning. It happens when people feel welcomed, seen, and trusted. We do our best to create the kind of space where that can happen — and then let the community shape itself.

Creativity

Creativity lives in more than paint and poetry. It shows up in the way people solve problems, tell stories, launch ideas, and bring people together to celebrate something that matters. Whatever form it takes, we make room for it here.

Meet Our Team

Bill

Founder & Strategic Director

Bill dreamed up The Studio as a space where creativity, celebration, and real community could take root — and then got to work making it happen. While he now focuses on the big-picture direction of the business, he’s still around most days: running his other ventures, swapping ideas in the kitchen, and probably fixing something with a drill.

Tia

Operations & Community Manager

Tia keeps The Studio running smoothly — for coworkers, event hosts, and the community that lives between the two. She brings heart, structure, and warmth to everything she does, and is the reason the space feels like it just works. (If you have a question, she probably has the answer.)

Jen

Co‑Owner & Special Projects Lead

A longtime entrepreneur and one of Boulder’s top real estate agents, Jen brings strategic insight and creative energy to The Studio. She leads marketing, helps shape long‑term vision, and guides special projects that keep the space evolving. She’s also the driving force behind many of our most unforgettable events.

Come see what it feels like.

Whether you’re looking for your next workspace or planning something worth celebrating, The Studio might be exactly what you didn’t know you needed.

We’ll show you around. You’ll know pretty quick if it’s your kind of place.
